25 Small Things to Do That Make a Big Difference

We all know that life can be chaotic and often overwhelming.  This week we’ve created a list of 25 things you can do in up to ten minutes that can have a positive impact on your daily life.

  1. Make your bed
  2. Take a walk around your neighborhood
  3. Send a thank you note or kind text to a loved one
  4. Read a section or chapter of an inspiring book
  5. Stretch for 5 to 10 minutes
  6. Write in a gratitude journal
  7. Plan your next day’s outfit the night before
  8. Clean the inside of your car
  9. Put a treat on your grocery list (rather than just buying one when you get there)
  10. Reorganize some of the décor in your house
  11. Take a different route to get somewhere you regularly go
  12. Sit outside for 5 to 10 minutes with no distractions (including your phone)
  13. Drink more water
  14. Help a random stranger who needs help
  15. Read the news
  16. Develop a consistent morning routine
  17. Focus on deep breathing for 1 minute
  18. Watch a TED Talk
